2/7/2023 0 Comments JUNIOR SQUAD PROGRAMOur Junior Squad Program is looking for teens from 14 years to 18 years (in high school still). Junior Members ride on the ambulance and assist the crew with patient care & other duties. They are an essential part of the team and will gain medical knowledge. PLUS it will look very good on their college resumes!
Juniors are required to attend a minimum of 4 Meetings and 4 drills per year. Juniors will be certified in CPR within 120 days of acceptance into the agency if they are not already. Juniors are only allowed to be a member of one other FIRE/EMS organization only. Any Junior member that reaches the age of 18 years, but still in high school can continue to be a Junior member until the time of graduation. All Junior Members are committed to ride minimum of (4) four hours a month to a maximum of (24) twenty-four hours a month. Junior members can only ride (12) consecutive hours at a time & cannot pull duty beyond 10pm. Duty hours will be based on the parents/guardian decision. We do not check report cards to determine if a Junior Member's grades are being affected by the hours at the station.
